Production:
Blanc de Blancs 2023 by Macià Batle is a fresh and elegant white wine made from a harmonious blend of grape varieties: 49% Prensal, 49% Chardonnay, and 2% Muscat. The Prensal Blanc grapes are harvested in mid-September, while the Chardonnay and Muscat grapes are picked earlier, in mid-August, ensuring the freshness and quality of each variety. The juice is extracted using pneumatic presses, allowing for gentle and controlled pressing to ensure the purity of the free-run juice. After impurities are removed, fermentation begins with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature not exceeding 17ºC, preserving the fresh and varietal aromas. The wine is bottled at the end of February 2024.
